Overview

Embodied AI connects perception and action through a physical robot. iCub is a research platform explicitly designed for developing and testing embodied AI algorithms. The robot’s body and sensors constrain what it can observe and do. A language model integrated into a robot is not, by itself, evidence that the system can perform physical tasks reliably. Robot articles record documented hardware and task evidence separately from a manufacturer’s broader autonomy goals.[1]
